harrymcc writes "I admire Richard Stallman and Eric Raymond in many ways. But I do object to their stance, expressed on the passing of Steve Jobs, that users of Apple products are prisoners, too dimwitted to know what's in their own best interest. As far as I can tell, Stallman and Raymond can't deal with the fact that some intelligent people choose to use Apple products--and they believe that freedom is just another word for agreeing with Richard M. Stallman and Eric S. Raymond."
